KOHN, HAZEL (TAYLOR)(MRS. PAUL):
   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, 4-14-1994:  "BELDING - Hazel Kohn, 91, of
Belding, died Wednesday, April 13, 1994, in the home of her daughter Lorene
Jonas of Belding.
   She was born January 18, 1903, in Saranac, the daughter of George and Martha
(Roelofson) Taylor.
   She was a life time farmer in Keene Township, she was a former moderator for
Marbel School.  She was graduated from Saranac High School in 1921 and was
graduated from Davenport College in 1923.
   She married Paul Kohn on December 5, 1923 in Saranac.
   She was a bookkeeper for Ypsilanti Reed Plant in Ionia.  She was also a
member of the Belding Wednesday Euchre Club.
   She is survived by one daughter, Lorene Jonas of Belding; one son, Richard
Kohn of Medford, NJ; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one
sister, Ola Scott of Saranac.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, on November 14, 1993; one
sister; and one brother.
   Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral
home.  Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in
Belding with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Burial will be in the Saranac
Cemetery.
   Memorial contributions can be made to the Helping Hands Hospice of Ionia."
