Kolarik, 66, a former Ionia resident, died at his home in Florida Wednesday and will be returned to Ionia where services are under the auspices of Kauffman-Doughty funeral home. Born in Cleveland, he was a retired Jackson state prison guard. Surviving is his wife, the former Margaret Rice; two daughters Mrs. Joanna Gee of Lyons and Mrs. Lucille VanVleck of Lansing; a brother Tony of Detroit and seven grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of the body from Florida. Subsequent Publication: Saturday, May 3, 1975 Services for the late Charles L. Kolarik, 66, formerly of Ionia, will be Monday at 2 p.m. from Kauffman-Doughty funeral home with Rev. Nolan Williams of Zion United Methodist church officiating. Mr. Kolarik died Wednesday in Brooksville, Florida. Family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Burial is in Balcom cemetery.
