Hasting's Reminder - Saturday May 9, 2024

Geraldine Jessie Kolodizieizyck

Geraldine "Jerry" Jessie Kolodizieizyck of Lake Odessa,MI, passed away 
peacefully on April 29, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1944, in Lansing,MI to 
Gerald Potter and Gladys Ralbovsky.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Chad; daughter, Teresa (Leonard)Dockter; 
grandchildren, Justin(Laura) Henney, Derrick (Ashley) Pepper, Abbie (Ryan) 
MacFarland; great-grandchildren, Alivia, Adelyn, Harper, Ernersyn and Claira and 
dear friend, Noreen. 

Jerry was a 1962 graduate of Lansing Eastern High School and studied at Lansing 
Community College.She retired from the Department of Civil Service in 1997 where 
she performed audits for the Stare Department office for compliance to the Civil 
Service Compensation Rules. After retirement, she became a small business owner 
in 1999 where she purchased the Keweenaw Pasty Shopp an Bakery in Grand 
Ledge,MI. Jerry spent the remainder of her retirement in lake Odessa,MI, where 
she enjoyed pending time with family, cooking, sharing pasty recipes, sewing, 
crocheting and countless craft projects.

Our family is grateful to know that Jerry is finally at peace.A special thank 
you to Clearstream Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and Elara Caring hospice 
for caring for Jerry in her final days.

No services will be held.
