The Lake Odessa Wave, Wednesday, March 10, 1926
Mr. George Koob, father of Mrs. Frank Darling, died at their home Thursday, 
February 25, and the funeral was held on Saturday Feb. 27th.  (Illegible)
…..years of age and had lived with his daughter here since his wife’s death in 
July 1922.  His health had been failing for a long time and he had been a 
source of constant watchfulness, but his daughter was a most faithful daughter 
and gave him constant love and care.  He was a most faithful Christian for 
many years.  After a service here the body was taken to Watervaliet to his old 
home for burial.

We wish to thank the neighbors and friends for flowers and other kindness, 
also the Calvary U.B. church and the W. M. A. for flowers during the sickness 
and death of our dear father, also Rev. Dawson for his comforting words, Rev. 
Hoffman for singing.
