Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 17 Nov 1962

Edward Kooiman, 6, died Friday at his home in Keene township after an extended
illness.  He was born September 7, 1956.  Surviving are his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Kooiman; four brothers, John, Douglas, David and Michael at home;
his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kooiman of Lowell; and his
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Rietdyke of Grand Rapids.

Service will be conducted at Morris funeral home Monday at 2:30 p.m. followed by
interment at Saranac cemetery.  The Rev. Karl Pike and Rev. S.H. Houbolt will
officiate.  Bearers will be Richard Kooiman, Keith Kooiman, Henry Blaauw and
William Berenbrock.
