I., died at Harper Hospital, Detroit, last night, of typhoid fever. Kordt’s case was pronounced extremely critical when he was placed in the hospital on Sunday. He soon thereafter became delirious and grew steadily worse. His brother was at Adolph’s side for some hours before death, but was not recognized by the dying soldier. The remains will be taken to the family home in Odessa. The age of deceased was 28. Commander Hutchinson has made a detail from Wm. H. Borden post to meet the remains, which will arrive in Ionia tonight and be taken to Bradley’s rooms, where they will lie until tomorrow, when interment will take place.
