The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 26, 1937

Funeral services for Lorenz Kosbar who died July 19 at the American Legion 
hospital, Battle Creek, were held from the home of an aunt, Mrs. Frank Hass, 
Morse street, Ionia, Wednesday, July 21, at 2 o’clock with Rev. R. A. Rook of 
St. Johns Lutheran church officiating.  Bearers were cousins, Lavern Hass, 
Albert Hass, Lester Kosbar and Oswald Kosbar.

Those attending were Mrs. Martin Kosbar, Donald, Betty and brother, Mr. and 
Mrs. Henry Kosbar, Janet and Walter Roop of Hastings, Mr. and Mrs. DeWitt 
Everett and family of Lake Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. Erdman Kosbar of Grand Rapids, 
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kosbar and family of Benton Harbor, Robert Hass of 
Saginaw, Ernest Craft of Saranac, Mr. and Mrs. William Buchholz of Belding, 
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Decker of Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. Harry McNeil and R. McNeil 
of Grand Rapids, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Glesinger of Grand Rapids.
