Kosber, 80, of 437 Allen street died at the Ionia County Memorial hospital Tuesday afternoon after being stricken ill very suddenly at her home. Mrs. Kosbar was born February 14, 1875, the daughter of William and Frederick Woodrick at the residence where she had lived until her death. Mrs. Kosbar was a member of the present St. John’s Lutheran church previous to its dedication service which she attended at the age of five years. She was married to Herman Kosbar in 1895. He died in 1932. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Ladies’ Aid Society. Survivors are one daughter, Hattie Kosbar of Ionia; two sons, Oswald, of Ionia and Erdie of Davison; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kosbar will repose at the Phelps funeral chapel until Saturday morning at which time she will be taken to the residence where prayer services will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon followed by funeral services at the St. John’s Lutheran church at 2 o’clock. Interment will be in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
