Winifred M. Koss, a former resident of Saranac, Michigan and Sun City West, 
Arizona, passed away on July 15, 2013.  Mrs. Koss was born in Gaylord, Michigan 
on November 8, 1918 to H.B. and Dora Edelstein Myers.  

Mrs. Koss was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Louis E. Koss, in 
1987, and daughter and grandson Harriet and Jeffrey Ginsburg in 2002.  She is 
survived by three children: Maureen Lombardo of Los Angeles, California, Steve 
(Alice) Koss of Portage, Michgian, and Debbie Koss (Richard Goldstein) of 
Rockville, Maryland; as well as 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 
great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. and Mrs. Koss owned Koss (Rexall Drugs) Pharmacy in Saranac for 40 years, 
and enjoyed retirement in Sun City West, Arizona.  Mrs. Koss was a devoted 
wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed bicycling, swimming, and gardening.
