John Kotesky died at his home in South Boston, Nov. 12. Funeral services were held at the South Boston Methodist church, Nov. 17, conducted by Rev. F. Pelikan of Chicago and Rev. J. G. Robeson of Alto. Interment at South Boston cemetery. Mr. Kotesky was born at Petersgratz, Germany, May 18, 1843. In April 1863. He married Carrie Prazen of Friedrichsgratz, Germany where they lived until May 1884, when they moved to Canada. In 1885 they came to Michigan and settled in South Boston. He is survived by his wife, four sons and three daughters, John of Moline, Charles, Paul and Ed., and Mrs. Carrie Lane of South Boston, Emma Yonker of Caledonia and Anna Carter of Lowell, also by seven grandchildren and two sisters.
