Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1958

Mrs. Julius (Jennie) Kotke, who suffered a stroke at her home in Big Rapids two 
weeks ago, died in Stanwood hospital Thursday.

Funeral was held held in Big Rapids, Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Walter 
Rogers officiating with interment in Rodney cemetery. Bearers were John Straub, 
Charles Holt, Hendrick Larson, Harry Larson, Ben Holt and Leland Holt.

She is survived by two sons, William Kotke, of Lansing and Russell Kotke of Big 
Rapids; one brother, William Holt of Big Rapids; eight grandchildren and one 
great-grandchild. Mrs. Francis Sloan of Orleans is a granddaughter, Mrs. and 
Mrs. Francis Sloan attended the funeral.
