Jack Koutz, 75, died at his farm residence near Lake Odessa Thursday evening, following an illness of several months of a complication of troubles. He leaves one son, Vernon and one daughter, Mrs. Oliver Ireman, of near Ann Arbor. The funeral was held Saturday and interment was in the Lake Odessa cemetery. He also leaves two brothers, Charles and Benjamin, both of the same location. These boys and their father were pioneers of Sebewa township and cleared away the trees and woods on their farm where they still reside.
