Death Takes Alvin Koutz 82

Alvin Koutz, 82 passed away at his home, Route 2,Lake Odessa, Wednesday night. 
He had lived alone since the death of his wife.

He was born Oct.4,1890, in Odessa Township, the son of Benjamin and Ella 
(Wright) Koutz, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Mr.Koutz was a retired 
farmer and was employed by the Lake Odessa Canning Co.,for many years and 
retired in 1954. He married Nina Wald in 1929 and she passed away Jan. 31, 1968.

No immediate survivors besides a nephew, Fred Beckhold of Lake Odessa, and a 
niece, Mrs. Kenneth (Erma) Becker of Caledonia.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, at 3:30 at Pickens Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa. Rev.Marvin Zimmerman officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
