William Kovach, aged 73, of Muir, passed away November 5, 2004 in Carson City.  
He was born January 20, 1931 in Yugoslavia, the son of John and Ilona 
(Sciachuk) Kovach.  He later married Muriel Cram, who preceded him in death in 
1989.

Bill was a Korean War veteran serving in the Army.  He was a member of the 
Melvindale Moose Lodge, Melvindale American Legion, AMVETS, life member of the 
Melvindale VFW and a member of the Ionia Elks Lodge.  He owned and operated 
Video Movie Mart in Ionia for several years.

Surviving are his daughter, Nicole and Tom Martin of Ionia; brothers Les and 
Shirley Kovach of California, Kelly and Barb Kovach of Canada, Nick Kovach of 
Arizona, John Kovach of Texas; three granddaughters, Carla Dickinson, Desiray 
Martin and Kasandra Martin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter 
Ilona, son John and one brother.  

Upon his request, there will be no funeral services.  Arrangements by Lake 
Funeral Home in Muir.
