Dr. Jean F. Kozachik of Portland, formerly of Traverse City
Died Tuesday January 30, 2018-age 59
Born Feb. 19, 1958 daughter of Martin and Mary Ann (Nichels) Kozachik
Graduated Portland High School, received doctorate from Michigan State University.
Served residency in 1987 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Physician at
Munson Medical center and Urgent Care, a partner in Bay Area Care and worked with Grand 
Traverse Band of Ottawas and Chippewa Indians.
Survived by two sons, Kyle & Devon Dotterer, daughter Kiley Hilligan, two grandsons,
three brothers, and two sisters.
Was preceded in death by brother, Tom Kozachik & sister-in-law, Gerri Lynn Kozachik
Visitation Sunday Feb. 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home,
Traverse City. Funeral service will at 11 a.m. on Monday Feb. 5 at First Congregational
Church, 6150 Center road, Traverse City, MI, with Dr. Gary Hogue officiating.
