A lifelong Pewamo resident, Carl J. Kramer, 80, died at a Grand Rapids hospital
Wednesday afternoon.  He was a tavern owner in Pewamo over 30 years.

Besides his wife Regina, he leaves a daughter Monica at home; three sons,
Stephen, Carl, Jr. and Bruce all of Pewamo; 11 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ana Rademacher of Alma, Mrs. Veronica
Cotter of Pewamo and Mrs. Isabella Eagan of St. Johns; two brothers August and
Clemens of Pewamo.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic church in
Pewamo with burial at the church cemetery.  Rosary will be resided at Geller
funeral home in Westphalia at 3 and 8 p.m. Friday.
