She was born on July 18, 1928 in Fowler the daughter of Fred and Veronica (Goerge) Kohagen. Terrie was a devoted member St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo and the altar society. Terrie enjoyed playing cards, singing and dancing, going to a show, traveling, visiting with family, neighbors and friends. An avid sports fan, she attended her children's, grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sporting events. Family was her life, forever giving of herself. Terrie was a loving, caring homemaker, she was the source of making holidays and family gatherings very special and important. God blessed her with a very generous , gentle spirit. Her warmth and sincerity touched and inspired all who met her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ray; son Jim; sister Alberta Buysse; brothers Don, Fred and Gerry Kohagen; brother-in-law, Mike Kramer. Surviving are her children Anita (Pat) Weller, Mary (Dave) Campbell and Wendy Fox all of Portland; Barb Cena of St. Ignace; Ron (Jackie) Kramer, Bill Kramer and Becky (Ted ) Droste all of Pewamo; 27 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; in-laws Jean Kramer O.P., Linda Kramer, Dick Kramer and Kathy Kramer; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Charlon O. Mason at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pewamo. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., both Tuesday and Wednesday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St., Westphalia. The rosaries will be prayed 3 and 8 p.m., Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday. The Scriptural wake service will be held at 8 p.m., Wednesday. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's School in memory of Terrie. Arrangements are with Lehman Funeral Homes.
