Kramer Evelyn T. Kramer, 67, of Portland died Nov. 23, 1994. Mrs. Kramer was born in Lansing Jan. 22, 1927, the daughter of Nicholas and Rose (Pohl) Smith. She was a member of St.Patrick's Catholic Church and Altar Society, Portland VFW #4090 ladies Auxiliary, and was active with the The Portland Community Fund (United Way). Survivors include her husband, Matthew; four daughters, Joyce Kramer of Kalamazoo, Diane (Mark) Huyck of Lake Odessa, Colleen (Rockwell Ludden) Kramer of South Yarmouth, Mass., and Roseann (James ) Marlatt of Mulliken; three sons, Dale (Carol) of Portland, Larry of Mason, and David (Mary) Kramer of Portland; 11 grandchildren; two brothers Carl Smith and Richard Smith, both of Portland; and two sisters, Lucille Fedewa and Harriet Pohl, both of Westphalia. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 26 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Portland, with Rev. Larry King officiating. Interment followed at Portland Cemetery in Portland. Contributions may be made to the Ionia Are hospice or the Father Flohe Foundation.
