DONNA KRAMER, 81
Donna Jean Kramer, age 81, of Pewamo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and 
great-grandmother passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 surrounded by her 
family. She was born on October 23, 1937, the daughter of Louis and Hilda 
(Fox) Thelen. 

Donna was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo and the 
Church Choir for 70 years. She served as the secretary at St. Joseph School 
for 20 years. She enjoyed watching sporting events, playing golf, and a game 
of cards. Her greatest love was her family, spending time with Philip, her 
children, and grandchildren. Donna will be greeted in heaven by her son, 
Philip; grandson, Evan Kramer; brother-in-law, David Hanses; and several 
sisters and brother-in-law in the Kramer family. 

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Philip; children Marilyn (Mark) 
Schneider, Philip (deceased), Sue (Scott) Klein, Nicholas (Kim) Kramer, John 
Kramer, and Ben (Stacy) Kramer; daughter-in-law, Nita (Ed) Panwas; 13 
grandchildren; siblings, Sr. Donna Jean Thelen O.P., James (Mary Ann) Thelen, 
Kathryn Hanses, Anthony (Mary Ann) Thelen, William (Diane) Thelen, Bonnie 
(Robert) Pearson, and Sue Thelen; and many nieces  and nephews. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Darrel Kempf and Rev. 
Charlon Mason at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church, Pewamo. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph cemetery. The 
family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening and 2-4 and 6-8 
p.m., Friday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St. 
Westphalia. The rosaries will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday. 
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph School in memory of Donna, 
Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
