Kramer, 83, of Pewamo passed away on Monday, May 12, 2003. He was born August 10, 1919 in Pewamo, the son of Carl and Regina (Thelen) Kramer. Mr. Kramer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a farmer all his life and a member of the Farm Bureau. He married Mary Anne Schafer on August 30, 1944 in Hubbardston. He enjoyed the outdoors, drives along the country side and visiting friends and family. He was preceded in death b his parents; sister, Monica Kramer; and brother, Bruce Kramer. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann; brother, Carl (Wanda) Kramer of Pewamo; sister-in-law, Lucille Kramer of Pewamo; several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Charlon O. Mason, Pastor, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rite of Committal following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed 3 p.m. and a scriptural wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Educational Trust Fund, in memory of Stephen P. Kramer.
