Earl E. Kransz, 69, of Portland died Jan. 5, 1994, in Portland.

Mr. Kransz was born in Lansing Sept. 10, 1924, the son of Edward and Ethel 
(Hewson) Kransz. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the 
Knights of Columbus. He retired after serving 34 years at Fisher Body.

He is survived by his wife, Rosella; three daughters, Donna (Martin) Bonner of 
Bay City, Joyce Kransz of Portland, and Judith Kransz of Grand Rapids; three 
sons, Darrell (Judy) Kransz , Duane Kransz and Joseph (Janet) Kransz all of 
Portland; eight grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Vida) Kransz of Grand 
Ledge; two sisters, Elizabeth (Donald) Pung of Westphalia and Elaine (Donovan) 
Doggie of Mulliken.

Services were held Jan. 8 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Portland, with 
Rev. Julian Reginato officiating. 

Interment followed at Danby Cemetery. Casket bearers were Dustin Bonner, 
Marshall Bonner, Donald Drushel, Gordon Graft, Gerald Huhn and Robert Krausz.
