Linda F. Kreps, 56, of Ionia passed away at her home March 4, 2003.  She was 
born August 20, 1946 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Robert and Violet 
(Powell) Ballard. 
She went on to marry Gerald Kreps November 12, 1977 in Charlotte.

She was a past member of Ionia Chamber of Commerce.  Linda is survived by her 
husband Jerry Kreps of Ionia; father Robert Powell of Ionia; daughters 
Patricia and Felix Hernandez III of Ionia, Marla Kreps and fiance Dan Nowland 
IV of Ionia; mother-in-law Doris Kreps of Bellvue; brother Martin and Anita 
Powell of Charlotte; sisters Georgia Powell of Ionia, Becky and Byron Adams of 
Potterville, Lori De Loach of Ionia; grandchildren Michelle, Gared, Stephanie, 
and Autumn; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brother Ralph Powell in 1983 and father-in-law 
Cleo Kreps in 2001.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Ken Harger officiating.  Interment Lyons Cemetery.  The Family will 
receive friends and family Thursday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 
p.m.  Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution to March of Dimes.
