Lake Odessa Wave - Times Fri. April 12, 1929

MARJORIE BIPPLEY KRESS

Marjorie Bippley Kress, younger daughter of Beatrice Bippley, died at Blodgett 
hospital earl Tuesday morning after a hard fight for her life.

On Wednesday she gave birth to a baby girl. It ws soon found that he had 
contracted a sore throat which later developed into a poisoning which resulted 
in her death.

Mrs. Kress was born in 1904 near Lake Odessa, where most of her life was spent. 
She graduated from Ionia high school and taught two years in ionia county 
schools and was later married to Edward Kress of Ionia.

She leaves to mourn their loss besides her husband and infant child, her mother, 
Mrs.Ella Bippley and one brother, John also her aged grandparents, Mr and Mrs. 
J.F. Pickens, all of Ionia.

We, of Odessa, who knew this family best extend the most heartfelt sympathy
