Krueger had Resided Here 45 Years West Main Street Resident Succumbs From Attack of Influenza Early Monday Morning. Theodore Krueger, 63, a valued employee at the plant of the Ionia Garment Company, died at his home 10?7 West Main Street, Monday morning at 4 o’clock, following an illness lasting a week which began with an attack of influenza followed by complications. Mr. Krueger was born in Germany and accompanied by his parents to the vicinity of Ionia, where they settled when he was a young man of 18 years of age. The family later located on West Main street and this locality has been the site of their home since. For 35 years he had lived in the house where he died. He was employed at the Sorosis garment factory almost from the time it was started and then remained in the employment of the different companies that have manufactured garments in the same building since the retirement of the Sorosis company. Mr. Krueger leaves the widow, Mrs. Etta Krueger, and three sons, Joseph, of Pontiac; Theodore, of Ionia and Leonard of Pontiac. He also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Lena Slowinski, of Ionia; Miss Elizabeth Krueger, of Chicago, and Sisters Anthusa and Ubaldesca, of the organization of Christian Charity of Detroit. Funeral services will beheld Thursday morning at 9 o’clock at SS. Peter and Paul’s church, Rev. Fr. Bernard Lochr, of Detroit, offering Solemn Requiem High Mass. Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
