William D. Krick, age 59, a lifelong resident of Ionia county and well known 
locally, died at his home in Otisco on Sunday, July 5th.  Although Mr. Krick 
had been in poor health for a year past his death at this time was very 
unexpected.  He was making a visit in Lansing last week when he became so ill 
that it was necessary to bring him home immediately.  Death resulted from a 
heart complication.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 7, from the Fitzjohn Funeral home 
with burial in River Ridge cemetery.  Rev. F. Don Crabbe of the local Church of 
Christ was the officiating clergyman.  Besides his widow Mr. Krick is survived 
by four sons, Mason, of Belding, Louis of Lansing, Albert and Wilfred at home 
and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Clark of Kalamazoo.
