Basil M. Krick, 68, of Orleans, passed away Thursday, November 19, 1998 at his 
residence.  He was born March 30, 1930, in Belding to Mason C. and Marion B. 
White Krick.  He retired in 1988 after 37 years with Extruded Metals as a 
press operator.  He was a former member of the Orleans Fire Department.

He was married to Colleen Bogart and she survives with their children, Marsha 
and Mark Benjamin, Masonville, Colo., and Keith and Melinda Krick, Kalkaska.  
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one 
brother, Keith Krick of Orleans.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one 
brother, Howard, and one sister-in-law, Janet Krick.

Memorial services will be Saturday, November 28, 2 p.m., at the Johnson 
Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be in 
Orleans Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Memorials 
may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
