The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 9, 1961


Fred J. Krieger, 76, died Sunday morning at his home on route two in Orange 
township.  He was born in Ionia county March 5, 1884, the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
August Krieger, and attended Ionia public schools.  Mr. Krieger was a farmer 
all his life.  He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul church.

Surviving are a son, Russell of route two; one brother, Amil Krieger of 
Saranac, and three grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at Myers funeral home Tuesday at 8 p.m.  Requiem high 
mass will be celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul church Wednesday at 9 a.m. with 
interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
