Although in poor health for some time, she had been seriously ill for only one day and her passing was a shock to her many friends here. Mrs. Kroman was born in Denmark but had lived most of her life in this vicinity, where her kindness and thoughtfulness of others won her many lasting friends. Her husband preceded her in death many years ago. Surviving to mourn her are the daughters, Mrs. Larsen of Saranac, Mrs. Will Hansen and Mrs. Pete Olsen of Greenville, Mrs. Rube Oliver of Mecosta and Mrs. Henrietta Petoskey of Detroit, as well as several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty at the Pete Olsen home on Fairplains with Rev. Paul Tucker officiating. Arrangements are being made by the Faber Funeral Home.
