The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 15, 1955

John W. Kronk, 93, died Friday morning at 5:30 at the home of his 
granddaughter, Mrs. Arthur Lindsley of Route 3 Belding.   Mr. Kronk was born 
March 11, 1862 at Smith Creek near Detroit.  He was a mason by trade and came 
to Ionia in 1927.

Surviving are five children, twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers funeral 
home.
