The Ionia County News, Thursday, May 16, 1935
Mrs. Mary Krost, former resident of Ionia township, died Saturday afternoon, 
May 11, at her home in Aurora, Illinois, and was buried Tuesday.  Mrs. Krost, 
who was 80 years old, was born in Germany and came to America about 50 years 
ago.  The family lived in Ionia township 15 years, leaving here about three 
years ago for Aurora, Ill.  She leaves six daughters, three of whom reside in 
Ionia county, Mrs. John Seidelman, Mrs. Paul Kruger, Ionia township and Mrs. 
Albert Johnson of Easton township.
