Ionia Daily Sentinel, 6 Jan 1916

Resided in Ionia Over Forty Years.

Mrs. Bertha L. Krueger Came From Prussia, Germany, in 1873 – Died January 5.

Mrs. Bertha L. Krueger, aged 75 years, died Wednesday afternoon at her home, 
230 East Lincoln avenue.  Funeral from the residence Sunday at 1:30 o’clock and 
from German Lutheran church at 2 o’clock, Rev. B. H. Succop officiating.  
Burial in Highland park cemetery.

Mrs. Krueger leaves besides her husband, five children, four sons and one 
daughter, Albert and Will of Ionia, Otto of Lansing, Frank of Kalamazoo and 
Mrs. Peter Diehm of Ionia.  One daughter preceded her in death.  

Mrs. Krueger came to Ionia in 1873 nearly 45 years ago from Prussia, Germany, 
and has been an honored resident of this city since, being one of the older 
members of the German Lutheran church.
