Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Jan 1986

Leonard M. Krueger, 79, of Ionia, died Tuesday at Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital.  Born Sept. 2, 1906, in Ionia, he was the son of Theodore and Anna 
Thome Krueger.  He graduated from SS. Peter and Paul academy.  He was employed 
at Ypsilanti-Reed Furniture Co., Ionia Manufacturing Co., and retired from A.O. 
Smith.  A member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, he was also a member of Ionia 
Council, Knights of Columbus. 

Surviving are two brothers, Joseph and Theodore, both of Ionia and a nephew, 
Joseph Krueger, also of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul Church.  
Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  The family will be at the Montgomery-
Leddick Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.  Parish rosary will be held at 
8 p.m. Wednesday with Knights of Columbus rosary following at 8:30 p.m.
