The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, May 4, 1934


Mrs. Katherine Krueger, 70,died at her home located at 440 Rice street Thursday 
afternoon at 4:55 o’clock, after a long illness.  Mrs. Krueger was born March 
9, 1864, in the Province of Bavaria, Germany.  She was married to Jacob Snell 
in October 1899, in Ionia, and Mr. Snell died 15 years later.  She was married 
to Peter Krueger, August 17, 1914, and they have been residents of Ionia since 
that time.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Krueger, three daughters, Miss Martha 
Kruger, of Ionia, Mrs. John Ammon, of Lansing, and Sister Marie Elizabeth of 
Sister Servants of Immaculate Heart of Mary, Akron, O.; three sons, Charles 
Snell, of Ionia, William D. Kruger, of Waukesha, Wis., and John Krueger of 
Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning, May 7, at 9 o’clock from SS. 
Peter and Paul church.  Burial will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
