The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, September 16, 1938


Peter Krueger did at his home, 440 Rice street, Friday morning, September 16, 
at 12:45 o’clock after an illness of the past three months at the age of 73 
years.

He was born in Germany February 17, 1865, and came to America in 1892.  He was 
a member of SS. Peter and Paul church, the Holy Name society and the Knights of 
Columbus.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Martha Koch, of Bay City, and Sister Marie 
Elizabeth of the IHM; two sons, William C. Krueger, of Waukesha, Wis., and John 
E. Krueger of Grand Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Adelaide Robertson of Detroit, five 
bothers in Germany and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday  morning, September 19, at 9 o’clock at 
SS. Peter and Paul’s church.  Interment will be in Mount Olivet.
