Ionia County News - July 17, 1958

August B. Krueger, 70, of 212 Lovell Street, died Thursday, June 26, at the 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient there for a week.

Born August 17, 1887 in Ionia, he was married to Ethel Nead in 1905. They lived 
at the present residence for 46 years. Mr. Krueger was a barber and in the 
poultry and hatchery business. He has operated a barber shop on North Jackson 
street for the past two years. He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Ethel; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Haist; a son, Harold 
Sprank and four grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Monday, June 30, at the Myers Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating. Interment was in Balcom Cemetery.
