Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, June 10, 1952

Mrs. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Krueger, 86, died at the home of her son, August Kruegger of

212 Lovell Tuesday morning, June 10, after being confined to her bed for nearly 
three years.

She was born in Germany June 1, 1866, and celebrated her 86th birthday only  nine 
days ago. She  moved to this country when she was five years old. She married Albert

J. Krueger, who preceded her in death in 1940 as did a son, Carl, in 1939. She was a

member of the Evangelical U.B. church.

Surviving are two sons, August and Louis of Ionia; two granddaughters, Mrs. Albert 
Haist and Mrs. Cecil Gladding; two great-grandchildren; and three nephews, Theodore

and Harold Sprank and Arthur Knickrehm.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home. The Rev. Roger 
Stressman, pastor of the Evangelical church, will officiate. Interment will be in 
Highland Park cemetery.
