The Ionia Standard, Friday, June 2, 1916


Carl Krueger, 75 years old, died at 6:00 o’clock Sunday morning at his home, 
230 Eat Lincoln avenue.  The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 
o’clock at the residence, and at 2:00 o’clock at the Lutheran church.  Burial 
in Highland Park.  

Mr. Krueger leaves a daughter, Mrs. Peter J. Diehm, and two sons, Will and 
Albert, all of this city.  Mrs. Krueger died January 5.  They were old 
residents of the city, Mr. Krueger being an employee at the Pere Marquette 
shops from the time they were built up to about three years ago, when failing 
in strength compelled him to give up hard labor.
