Mr. John H. Krupp, who resided a short distance west of Smyrna, went out to his barn Sunday morning, to get ready to attend the funeral of Mrs. Gardner, when he was kicked in the abdomen by one of his horses, from the effects of which death ensued that evening. Mr. Krupp had resided in Otisco for many years, and was a man recognized and respected for his ability, honor and integrity. For fifteen years he had been a member of the board of directors of the Farmer’s Mutual Fire Insurance Company. He leaves a wife and two adopted children who have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends. The funeral services, which were largely attended were held Wednesday morning from the Miriam Catholic church of which he was a member, Rev. Fr. Muer officiating and the burial was in the Miriam cemetery. He lacked two days of being fifty-five years of age.
