Mr. Krupp had been in poor health for several years but had only been admitted to the hospital a short time before passing away. A daughter, Hilda, wife of the late Milan Elkins, passed away and left three small children, Donna, Lois and James, and Jr. Krupp continued to make a home for these grandchildren and cared for them up to the time when it was no longer possible for him to do so. He had the respect and admiration of all who knew him for his devotion to his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to the grandchildren are two nephews, Dr. Christian Krupp, of Grand Rapids, and Frank Krupp, and a niece, Mrs. Mary Waldron of Hastings. Mr. Krupp was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic church, of Miriam, and funeral services, with Rev. Fr. Charles E. Steves officiating, are to be held this Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, at St. Mary’s church, with burial in the church cemetery.
