Belding Banner-News, 7 Apr 1926

Mrs. Theresa Krupp, aged 72 years a pioneer woman resident of Miriam, died at
Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids, Thursday morning after a short illness caused
by an obstruction of the bowels.  Mrs. Krupp was the widow of the late Henry
Krupp, who passed away eight years ago.  She was born on the farm on which she
was living at the time of her being taken sick and had lived on the same place
all during the 72 years of her life.  Funeral services were held from St. Mary
Catholic church, Miriam, Monday morning at nine o’clock, Rev. Fr. Joseph A.
Maier officiating and burial was in the cemetery there.  Surviving are five
children, Mrs. Peter Ritterstorf, of Keene; Mrs. Nick Shenden, of Grand Rapids;
Mrs. N. N. Andres, of Easton and John and Joe, at home.
