Cecielia Krycinski, age 94, of Ionia, passed away Monday, February 21, 2005 in 
Ionia.  She was born October 2, 1911 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of John 
and Katherine (Helpein).  Cecielia married Stanley S. Krycinski February 17, 
1946, he preceded her in death in 1985.  Together they settled in Ionia after 
moving from Chicago.  She cooked at Pete’s in Ionia for years.  She was the 
owner of Martha Washington Café in Ionia until retiring in 1976.  She was a 
member of SS Peter & Paul Church, Rosary Society and a former member of Ionia 
Elks and Moose Clubs.

Cecielia is survived by her son Stanwood (Carolyn) Krycinski of Lyons.  She was 
preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.  Funeral 
services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church 
with Father Melvin Fox officiating.  Interment will be in the spring at Mt. 
Olivet Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives 10 a.m. 
Wednesday until time of services.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.

on Aging.
