August 24, 1985 STANLEY S. RYCINSKI IONI-Stanley S. Krycinski, 73, of Ionia, suffered a fatal heart attack at his residence early Friday. He was born in Ionia May 29, 1913, the son of John and Agnes Stoj. Krycinski. He attended SS.Peter & Paul Academy then attended and graduated from Ionia High School with the Class of 1930. He worked with hi parents in a family-owned coffee shop in Chicago for a few ears and entered service during World War II. He served with the Army-Air Force, stationed in England and also in Scotland. Following his discharge from service, he came to Ionia and married Cecielia Hawley at the home of his sister in Ionia on February 17, 1946. They have made their home here since that time. He had owned and operated various business enterprises in Ionia. Then he was employed at the Ionia Post Office as the rural Rt.4 carriers for 17 years. He retired in September of 1979. He was a member of SS.Peter and Paul Church and the Ionia Knights of Columbus.He was also a member of the Ionia VFW. Surviving are his wife, Cecielia; one son, Stanwood of Lyons; a brother, John of Ionia; one sister, Josephine Wapennik of Ionia. Rosary will be held at the Montgomery-Leddick Funeral Home Sunday at 7 p.m. Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from SS.Peter & Paul Church with the Rev. Fred Brucker officiating. Burial will be in Mt.Oliver Cemetery. Memorials have been established for SS.Peter & Paul Church and the Michigan Heart Association. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
