Kump, 68, died suddenly at his home in Culvertown Monday night, his death being attributed to a heart attack. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Neller Funeral Home with Rev. W. E. Doty officiating. Burial was made in Portland cemetery. Mr. Kump came from Lansing to Portland with his family three years ago and had been employed part of that time at the barber shop of Will Slocum, having followed that profession for over 50 years. Besides the widow he is survived by a daughter and son, Lynn, at home, and Mrs. Thelma Taylor, of Royal Oak. One sister and two brothers also survive, Mrs. Kittie Archbaugh, of Kansas City, Mo., Gale Kump, of Portland and Dell Kump of Clare.
