Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of the son in Grand Ledge with burial following in Highland Park cemetery. Rev. Wright of the Grand Ledge Methodist Episcopal church, will be in charge. Mr. Kunkle was a native of Pennsylvania, but had lived in Michigan 60 years and for a long time in Ionia where he was employed at the Pere Marquette shops. The last six years since Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kunkle have been home in Grand Ledge after moving from Ionia he had made his home with his son. Besides his son, he leaves two children, William Kunkle, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. M. Bishop, of Trenton, Mo.; a brother, Silas Kunkle, of Elmhurst, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
