His sudden death therefore was an extreme shock to his people here. The body was brought back to Grand Rapids for funeral services Tuesday and a large number of his relatives from near here were in attendance, he being a nephew of the Eckardts. Among those from here in attendance at he funeral were Mr and Mrs.H.J. Gerlinger, Mr and Mrs Sam Schuler, Mr and Mrs Fred Eckardt. The Misses Roses and Kate Eckardt, Chris Eckardt, Carl Eckardt, Miss Olga Eckardt and Mr and Mrs Waldo J. Gerlinger from South Sunfield. A brother of the deceases died two years ago. Kunz, A Grand Rapids Furniture Salesman's services were held Tuesday afternoon from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.Henry Kunz at 1130 Cass Avenue S.E.. Previous to his long illness, he was associated with the Michigan Chair Company. He died in Alburquerque. He is survived by his parents.
