The Carson City Gazette, Thursday, March 27, 1958


Funeral services were held from the Burns Funeral Home here on Friday afternoon 
for John Kunzi, 56, who passed away while sleeping some time Tuesday night.  He 
was found dead in bed Wednesday morning.  Mr. Kunzi made his home with Mr. and 
Mrs. Percy Cotton of North Plains township, Ionia county.

Rev. Harry Taylor, pastor of the First congregational church, Carson City, 
officiated at the services.  Interment was made in the Muir cemetery.

Mr. Kunzi was born in Ohio April 14, 1901, one of 12 children.  Surviving are 
two sons, Leonard of Detroit and Charles of Duran; three daughters, Patricia, 
Mary and Donna, addresses unknown, and two sisters, Edith Inman of Lansing and 
Florence Cark of Rochester.
