Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Nov 1963

Mrs. Lola May Kurtz, 65, of 99 ˝ Mill street, Saranac, died Sunday at Ionia 
County Memorial hospital.

She was born July 2, 1898 in Tremont, Ill.

Surviving are three daughters, Ruth Kurtz of Hastings, Mrs. Wilson Smith of 
Flint and Mrs. Myron Walter of Saranac; seven grandchildren; one brother, 
Marion Waltmire of Flint and a sister, Mrs. John Ostrander of Pontiac.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at Morris 
funeral home with Rev. Eldon Cummings officiating.  Burial will be at 2 p.m. at 
Stanley cemetery, Mt. Morris.
