                MRS. ERNEST KUSSMAUL DIES VERY SUDDENLY
TAKEN TO GRAND RAPIDS FOR OPERATION BUT TOO LATE TO OPERATE
   Mrs. Ernest Kussmaul was taken very ill Tuesday evening and rushed to Grand
Rapids to be operated upon but the disease was beyond medical skill and Mrs. 
Kussmaul died Wednesday morning.
  She leaves three young children, a boy and two little girls, besides the husband.
   The family have lived here about two years, coming here from Woodbury.
   The funeral will be held at the Liberal U. B. church this afternoon at 2 o'clock,
of which church the Kussmauls are members.
   The case is a very sad one as is always the case when a young mother is taken,
leaving young children.
   Mrs Kussmaul was an active member of the local Rebekah lodge.  The lodge will
attend the funeral in a body.
