He was born in Orleans, July 7, 1893, the son of Charles and Lydia Youngs Kyser and was a veteran of World War I. He married the former Berniece Dukes February 16, 1927 in LaGrange, Indiana. A teacher for 30 years, he was supervisor of education at the Michigan Reformatory at Ionia for several years before his retirement. Mr. Kyser was a member of the Saranac American Legion and the South Boston Grange. Survivors include his wife, one son, Douglas of New York; two daughters, Ardith Cosart of Troy and Barbara Box of Lansing; one sister Mabel Bovee of Lowell; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services are Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Roetman-Lake Funeral home with Rev. Edwin G. Mendenhall of Saranac Community church officiating. Burial is in Saranac cemetery.
