Ned, as he was familiarly known by his family and friends, was born February 17, 1891, at Orleans, Ionia county, the son of Charles F. and Lida A. Kyser. He was married on December 15, 1915, to Bessie Story, and to this union were born two children, Pauline Lunette, and Clayton Keith, who passed away September 6, 1931, at the age of ten years. Surviving besides the widow and daughter, Mrs. Douglas LaDue, are one granddaughter, Karen Kay; six brothers, Roy, Howard, Carl, Ralph and Myron of Lowell, and Smith of Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Lyle Bovee, of Lowell, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Kyser was a member of the Lowell Methodist church. He was devoted to his family, and found his greatest pleasure in caring for his home and yard. Funeral services were held in First Methodist church in Lowell at 2 o'clock Tuesday, the Rev. C. E. Pollock officiating. Burial was in South Boston cemetery.
